Manipuly

Jeremiah Barber, Simon Pyle, H.G. Wells, Luis Buñuel, and Salvador Dalí

An evening of films in which time, space, and history are manipulated. Rooted in the curious and the surreal we will watch films written by H.G. Wells, Salvador Dali and more.

Video works by San Francisco based artists Jeremiah Barber and Simon Pyle will be presented alongside the feature length films throughout the evening. Barber’s work manipulates the edge of comfort, physical and mental transportation. Pyle considers the disintegration of history through the loss of digital information.

Suggested Rock Bar cocktail pairings: Soft Rock, Manhattan, Igneous, Gold Digger, and Gin Fizz.
